Summary
All-star client facing business Project Manager needed! The preventive health care member outreach team needs another rock star Project Manager in this high profile role of implementing, executing, reporting on, closing, and improving Optum's risk, quality and network solutions projects. Come join our winning team! In this role you will manage a range of clients that vary in size, program sophistication and response requirements. With as many as 5 clients under your responsibility you will have multiple simultaneous competing priorities to manage at once. Your insistence and dedication to client satisfaction will require some long days, flexibility and stamina.
Responsibilities
* Develop a subject matter expertise on member outreach programs / projects within 6 months of hire * Present status & results of the programs / projects to clients and internal stakeholders with a strong voice and subject matter authority * Develop concise data-driven MS PowerPoint presentations for clients and internal stakeholders * Lead internal cross-functional and client interactive workgroup meetings to implement programs / projects * Manage internal stakeholder and client expectations, obtain acceptance of final results from internal sponsors and external clients * Manage call center, data enrichment, and print vendors * Create program / project management plans with MS Project * Create workflow structures with MS Visio * Identify program / project risks and prepare & follow risk mitigation plans * Receive, interpret, manage, scrub and verify program / project data from internal and external sources * Develop, maintain, and improve upon inbound / outbound call scripting and member & provider-facing collateral * Listen to and analyze call recordings. Make subsequent recommendations on training changes, vendor staffing modifications, and script improvements * Participate in and / or facilitate client audit requirements * Conduct post-project / program review and maintain a lessons learned log * Ensure future projects and programs are improved accordingly * Create and maintain business requirements documents and standard operating procedures for department operations * Utilize and increase efficiency of department quality control checks for incoming and outbound data sets * Manage files in secure shared-drive and SharePoint environments * Comply with all internal policies for protecting health information and ensure that all data releases from the department are performed securely * Identify and build new outreach opportunities based on market demands and proven cost benefit analysis that will help Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Affordable Care Act beneficiaries live healthier lives
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications:** * BA / BS degree or exceptional equivalent work experience * 2+ years of solid project or program management experience along with organizational skills that top the charts * Excellent and confident oral and written communication skills to communicate with internal stakeholders and external clients * Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Visio, and Word * Ability to assimilate into a dynamic team and learn business processes quickly * Advanced task and time management skills * Strong attention to details and quality * Strong problem solving, organization and analytical skills * Position will be based in the Santa Ana, CA offices **Preferred Qualifications:** * BA / BS degree in Business, Communications, Project Management, Health Services, or related field * Project Management certification * Ability to create pivot tables, charts, graphs and use VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP, IF, AND, OR, etc. and ability to work across many worksheets or even workbooks to consolidate data from numerous sources * Experience working in the health care industry, direct marketing or outbound call center * Access or other DB experience * Extreme "win-win" personality type that acts with poise and professionalism at all times
