Summary
The Human Resource Manager will serve as a business partner and provide HR services in the areas of employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and training. The HR Manager will assist in the development of Human Resources strategies and programs. Assist and advise senior management on HR matters in a proactive, collaborative manner.
Responsibilities
* Develop and administer various Human Resource programs and company policies. * Conduct training as needed on various HR related topics. * Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.Conduct thorough and objective employee investigations. * Provide advice and counsel to management regarding employee concerns, policy interpretation and administration of employment laws. * Oversees government, legal, and regulatory compliance. * Partners with business leaders to achieve organization and business alignment. * Develops workforce planning, talent acquisition, and on-boarding programs. * Monitors and improves employee retention. * Oversees HR admin and receptionist. * Audits HR department for compliance. * Demonstrate a strong understanding of Human Resources and employment laws. * Demonstrate strong coaching and leadership skills. * Self-motivated, able to work independently, have good time management and takes initiative. * Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. **Experience:** * 8 + years of HR experience. * Experience in a fast-paced environment. * Previous foods manufacturing experience is helpful. **Physical Requirements:** Administration: Individual work space, desk and computer. May not be temperature controlled, could have loud background noises. May include entering production facility and walking on uneven, slippery surfaces and encountering forklift traffic. Requires sitting majority of shift; can include standing and walking to accomplish tasks. May require stooping, bending and crouching to file, retrieve supplies. Occasional lifting of 25 pounds.
