Summary
The Senior Material Pricing Specialist leads the coordination and implementation of global pricing policies, manages material prices within SAP, provides pricing reports and analytics, and supports the preparation and implementation of large price changes. This involves coordinating with key global partners to analyze the steps needed to develop and implement the most universal and efficient policies as well as the governance needed to ensure compliance. The Senior Material Pricing Specialist must be proficient in the dynamics of all cross functional systems in terms of process relationships, performance, accuracy and time sensitivity. As well, it is important that the Pricing Specialist understands and can guide the organization on pricing implications under the US requirements found in Sarbanes-Oxley and Robinson-Patman Acts.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate global pricing policies and procedures including pricing conditions, price changes and Financial Planning support. Specific to the US business (and associated Business Units), responsible for Sarbanes Oxley and Robinson-Patman controls. For all business units, responsible for Order to Cash compliance, all Audit requirements, and any other governance processes as defined. Provide recommendations and input for pending system changes and on-going procedure changes to Master Data Governance Steering Committee. * Create, review, update and delete product/material master pricing attributes for business units across the company within SAP and related systems. Before creation of a new record in the SAP master views, assure all data has been gathered from the various business entities. * Reporting and Analytics – Support product/material pricing reporting and analytic requests from within the business, providing consistency and standard approach to procedures, data sets and system usage. Provide consulting to other GSS team members and pricing stakeholders * Support all steps for the preparation and implementation of large material pricing changes primarily for the US business but also for other large Intl businesses * For the US business - facilitate the custom product identification as approved by the Calendar of Record team to support Planning and Trade Promotion management. Ensure compliance with reporting capabilities. * Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

* Strong computer skills with accuracy * Advanced PCM, SAP, Microsoft Office skills (ex. pivot tables, V-lookups) * Strong communication skills * Analytical thinker * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:* * Four-year college degree in accounting/finance or equivalent * Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in the field or related area * 2-3 years of work experience in SAP Material Master
