Responsibilities
About the Job: - Develop branding opportunities and expand the visibility/importance of Telogis built-in location intelligence platform - Develop deep, broad, and insightful relationships with key OEM marketing, sales, planning and dealer support groups - Collaborate on the design and implementation of value added sales and marketing strategies with OEM partners (i.e. bundles, channel programs, spiffs, etc.) - Create a conduit for the marketing of the Telogis platform early in the OEM sales cycle, and create a Telogis “push” in the OEM eco-system - Expand dealer visibility to the company’s difference, and develop support opportunities that are “monetizable” - Develop insights into the OEM development, sales, and support process and the value creation within that process - Be seen as a partner, leader and subject matter expert to key internal customers in either a working relationship or work deliverables aspect - Gain deep insights and keep finger on the pulse of future or unmet location intelligence/telematics needs for commercial fleets and communicate those needs to OEM stakeholder groups (i.e. Sales/Marketing/Development teams) - Develop a marketing plan and ensure timely and quality deliverables, leveraging internal an OEM partners and colleagues - Establish KPIs and measure against them - Collaborate closely with internal product management teams to drive competitive insight across the OEM platform portfolio to understand each competitor set, OEM channel strategic moves, and how to preemptively counter with Telogis offerings
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications About You: - 10+ years of partner or channel marketing with a minimum of three years leading a national marketing strategy - Significant and direct experience working with OEM partners in automotive marketing and sales with a focus on the vehicle marketing, product planning, and dealer support end of the business, preferably with products and services that are co-branded with OEMs - Cross-functional experience in integrated marketing, including demand generation, digital marketing, events strategy, research, field marketing, channel marketing, etc. with an eye to how these elements work together to achieve strategic and sales goals - Results-oriented with solid analytical skills and measurement focus Up to 35% travel will be required in this role to support field activities and partner meetings - Outstanding executive composure, cross- group collaboration, and assertive and proactive communications skills - Self-starter, an original thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit who is highly motivated to overcome challenges, and remain focused on the solution - Ability to take what you learned from past work experience and drive it into the business - Team player, strong collaborator, and an inspiring leader to the team and peers in the organization
