Responsibilities
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To facilitate training; to assess colleague career development needs; to develop training programs and materials; and to deliver programs when appropriate to analyze, improve and manage performance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES - Delivers new colleague orientation. - Monitors development plans. - Oversees performance analyses. - Develops training material, lesson plans, assessment and evaluation for training modules. - Ensures that the training process is properly coordinated, monitored documented and evaluated. - Coordinates and facilitates technical systems training. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES - Performs other duties as assigned. - Supports the organization's quality program(s). - Travels as required.
Ideal Candidate
QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensing - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Experience - Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years line-of-business (such as claims, customer service, etc.) experience and two (2) years training experience. Skills & Knowledge - Good knowledge of adult education theory - Technologically literate- understands support systems - Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills - PC literate, including Microsoft Office products - Analytical and interpretive skills - Strong organizational skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent negotiation skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking
