- The Marketing Manager is responsible for partnering with the Chief Marketing Officer in development and delivery of Aspire’s channels, products and services, brand and market strategy execution.
- Responsible for planning and implementing the company’s marketing activities in a timely fashion to achieve the financial and strategic objectives of the marketing plan.
- Oversee go-to-market strategy, brand management and messaging, integrated marketing communications programs, product development and management, channel relationship marketing, competitive market intelligence, events/conferences, website content, public relations, advertising, collateral development, demand-generation communications campaigns, content management strategy and social media including company pages and blogs.
- Co-develop a strategic sales and marketing plan that identifies prospects , channels, opportunities and customers, prioritizes them according to importance and ability to provide results
- Assist in the development of annual marketing strategy in conjunction with the Sales organization
- Assist in resolving customers’ needs/problems
- Manage marketing data using applicable sales management systems or tools to maximize efficiency and analyze data/marketing activity on a regular basis
- Effectively present and discuss the products and services of Aspire’s channels, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company and its vendors, to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs
- Assist and support related activities, presentations , seminars and education that promote the image of our company as a leader in retirement services
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Sales, Account Management, Service and Marketing teams to define, develop, market, sell and deliver go-to-market plan and value proposition to guarantee that sales and client objectives are met for all channels
- Develop a playbook/engagement model template that facilitates an informed internal and external team
- Collaborate with Sales on business development tactics, webinars, regional meetings, channel conferences, materials, public relations, training, etc.
- Assist in the development of Aspire’s growth objectives through effective program and implementation of plans designed to support sales goals
- Perform market assessments, competitor analyses, pricing strategies—draw conclusions from market assessment data on the competitive environment and the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and targets
- Oversee the organization of national industry conferences and support Sales with regional events
- Work with sales-identified prospects/targets, customers, and defined referral sources and develop/maintain relationships to ensure attainment of company business goals; support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources
- Actively manage short- and-long term segmentation plans and leads from external referral sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales process
- Ensures all initiatives/campaigns are built on a thought leadership platform that leverages a thoughtful content marketing strategy
- Manage the social media and other thought leadership assets, including blogs, as defined
- Communicate effectively with the Sales organization informing and updating regularly to guarantee that sales and client objectives are met for all channels
- Assist in developing and implementing contract processes for channel relationships
- Prepare reports of business impact
- Manage Marketing team including a Marketing Communications Specialist and a Channel Marketing Manager
- Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor
