The WBN Operations Analyst is responsible for working with large amounts of data to derive meaningful discoveries and provide solid guidance to WBN leadership that will help guide decisions that impact the business as a whole. The ideal candidate will be adept at building reports, sifting through data, and confidently communicating insights to senior leadership within the organization.
- Own and manage WBN’s data and related analysis. Act as primary contact and work closely with WBN’s employees and departments to ensure their understanding of our data and reporting and its impact on clients and the business.
- Design and generate client, sales and other operational reporting (including ad hoc analysis) and supporting management decision making (project analysis, sales forecasting, resource forecasting, budgeting and planning)
- Generate monthly WBN management reporting including, but not limited to ad hoc analysis and new report setup. Design and setup executive and management dashboards in Tableau.
- Recommend the development and implementation of new processes to improve the day-to-day business
- Support Finance and Operations teams in contract profitability analysis and budget planning
- Run weekly analysis of sales opportunity pipeline and forecast reporting
- Comfort manipulating large data sets and deriving meaningful insights from them, without losing sight of the details.
- MS Excel modeling skills working with large sets of data.
- Ability to complete data analysis and use results to tell a story and influence decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage varied tasks and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Salesforce.com experience – preferably at an Admin level.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in analytical/ quantitative disciplines.
- An ability to research, collect, analyze, synthesize and present data effectively.
- Ability to write and run complex SQL queries.
- Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing Services or consulting industries.
