Summary
The Inside Sales Rep will partner with outside sales to focus on new sales and support existing customers. The role will work with potential accounts in a specific geography to increase sales growth. The position will also work closely with services business unit leadership, operations, technical services, and other sales and support personnel to identify new business opportunities and solicit information from potential customers.
Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain regular communication with outside sales and Inside Sales Manager regarding prioritization of efforts to attain established goals & objectives * Preparing and submitting all assigned bids on a timely basis, meeting internal and customer deadlines and expectations * Follows Synagro’s Sales Opportunity Process Flow for development, review and approval of proposals * Regularly conducts research on existing and target accounts for opportunity identification * Develops positive relationships with existing and prospective accounts * Work closely with operations teams to prepare and process bid / proposal documentation * Maintain current and accurate customer information in CRM & CLM system * Track and summarize activities on a weekly basis for reporting to management * Perform accurate cost estimating for bids and proposals * Willingness to travel up to 10% in support of the sales strategy including for training and trade shows * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* College Degree Required * 1-3 years of experience in a sales role preferred * Proficient MS Office, internet and other computer programs * Experience with CRM systems a plus (ex: Dynamics, Salesforce)
