Elgin Fastener Group is comprised of nine domestic manufacturing companies (Ohio Rod Products, Leland Powell Fasteners, Chandler Products, Silo Fasteners, Landreth Fastener, Quality Bolt & Screw, Northern Wire LLC, Telefast Industries, Vegas Fastener Manufacturing), and a metal finishing company (Best Metal Finishing).
Responsibilities
- Work with various corporate/external and inside sales managers to determine appropriate customized programs and strategies for various market segments - Identify and qualify potential customer leads - Provide coordination and project management to ensure campaign success - Be the primary Marketing leader for the corporate CRM system. Including sales team training, implementation, tracking, follow up, and maintenance. - Provide competitive intelligence reports and analysis; conduct additional research through database searches, industry resources, and networking as directed - Understand and become familiar with product features and service details in an outgoing, enthusiastic and confident manner - Utilize creativity and out-of-the-box thinking to proactively develop new ideas and/or creative digital marketing programs and other marketing programs to stimulate customer interest and demand, resulting in new approaches to prospecting and lead generation
Ideal Candidate
- 2-5 years of experience or training in industrial marketing preferred, but willing to make exceptions for the right candidate - 4-year college degree or equivalent - Experienced with major CRM package such as Salesforce.com - Experience in customer service or other people-oriented fields desired - Inside or field sales experience is a plus - Proven ability and desire to interact with prospects and leads to qualify the best targets for field sales follow up - Strong demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM package and other digital marketing tools - Exceptional communication skills to successfully interact with customers and company sales personnel - Experience gathering and communicating appropriate competitive intelligence to drive strategy development and deployment - Must excel in an entrepreneurial environment. A collaborative yet competitive, resilient attitude with a strong work ethic is desired. - Customer-service oriented with a high level of integrity and character. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport across the company while quickly and confidently gaining respect of others. - Solid planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and assimilate new information quickly. - Exceptional organizational and project management skills - Some travel to industry trade shows and other events may be required -Operate computer and keyboard; able to use phone; sit for long periods; communicate using speech, hearing and vision skills.
