Shutterstock is looking for a compensation professional ready to make a big impact grow their career, and leave their mark! The position calls for an experienced individual who is both hands-on and ready to be strategic. We are looking for somebody that knows how to set up and drive policy, programs and procedures in a scalable way, so experience in both established and high-growth companies is key
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s global compensation programs * Designing and administering incentive, bonus and sales incentive plans and programs to attract and retain employees * Designing new and administering existing Executive compensation plans reflective of the company’s compensation philosophy, including stock options and equity grants both in the US and internationally * Conducting job evaluation and salary surveys, establishing salary structures, developing salary budgets and preparing policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation * Working with line management to assess competitive market trends * Maintaining a working knowledge of US federal and state as well as international legislation and labor contracts that may affect compensation policies * Collaborating on the establishment of a Total Rewards framework
Ideal Candidate
**Required Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * 5-8 years of experience in the ongoing management of compensation and rewards programs and related systems * Strong project management skills with the ability to understand business needs and translate those into programs that will address them * Analytical, with the ability to clearly summarize the issues at hand and derive a cohesive, attainable solution, effectively using tools like Excel and other Business Intelligence programs **Preferred skills:** * Team player able to collaborate with a multitude of diverse groups both inside and outside of HR while at the same time maintaining fairness and consistency across the board * Working under tight timelines, frequently under pressure and dynamic evolving objectives * Communicates effectively across multiple organization layers and levels of experience * Cares about the importance of education of compensation matters making sure we are all operating on a level playing field
