Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, primarily responsible for providing HR administrative support to the Human Resources Team and organization. * Assists with HR memos, organizational charts and other announcements. * Manages, prepares and facilitates new hire orientation. * Responsible for collection and completion of all pre-employment, new hire and on-boarding paperwork and processes, including processing of background checks, coordination of drug testing and deployment of new hire and annual training. * Serves as backup to other team members, including the payroll and benefits analyst. * Manages and coordinates the quarterly new hire breakfast and service award programs. * Coordinates planning and communication for associate corporate events. * Other general clerical duties to include filing, scanning, preparing overnight packets, distributing mail. Assisting with distribution of HR faxes and mail. * Assists in maintaining all Human Resource personnel files, including I-9s in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures all documentation related to associates is filed in both electronic and hard copy files. Removes terminated associate files from the active file system and coordinates off property storage. Electronic termed associate files moved to corresponding termed folder. * May assist in recruitment efforts for exempt, non-exempt and temporary candidates across multiple sites. Reviewing resumes, screening candidates, conducting phones screens and setting up interviews with HR Manager and scheduling interview team. May conduct reference checks. Drafts offer letters. * Supports in tracking submitted forms, such as acknowledgements, consent forms, rsvp’s for meetings. * Participates in process improvement activities and works in conjunction with the HR team to build and enhance HR processes. * Assists with updating and maintenance of the HR SharePoint site and other documents and systems as directed. * Updates HR-related policies and procedures as directed. Maintains HR and company calendar of events. * Builds and run HR reports from employee database as requested.. * Complies with SOX controls. Updates processes as needed. Assists auditors with HR related documents when required. * Responds to questions from associates and/or management on human resource related issues, resolves or refers questions to include payroll, benefits and general practices. * Assists in preparation of information to be distributed at the annual open enrollment and associate benefits meetings. * Prepares human resource related reports and metrics as needed. * Other HR related duties as assigned or required including duties related to special projects and employee events.
Ideal Candidate
Human Resources experience in a corporate environment is required. Recruitment experience is required. Must be professional and highly reliable. Knowledge of human resource commonly-used concepts, programs, policies, and procedures, and understanding of state and federal laws relating to employment practices required. Position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills both written and verbal. Strong Word, EXCEL and Power Point skills are required. **Qualifications** * Requires an associates degree. Bachelors preferred. * 2 + plus years of HR related work experience required. Recruting experience REQUIRED. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent clerical skills with a high degree of attention to detail. * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Reliable and self motivated. * Must have strong Microsoft skills including; Excel, Word and Power point. * Team player with strong ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and work with minimal supervision. * Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization on a professional level. * Ability to handle confidential information is required!!
