Summary
Provides financial planning and analysis to support assigned businesses and functions within the Global Customer Support & Maintenance (CSM) business. Works directly with business leaders to provide financial support of strategic initiatives and concepts, improve business processes and financial results.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the analysis of monthly actual results for Global Business Units with comparisons to the forecast, plan and prior year. Prepares Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts. Leads financial performance reviews with business managers. Develops detailed knowledge of business processes and product lines to be able to provide value-added support to business teams. Act as the finance representative in all stages of potential acquisitions being researched for Customer Support & Maintenance, as identified by our Corporate Development organization. Works with business teams as an active business partner to develop new processes to support business initiatives, and to implement business process improvements. Implements and monitors internal control processes to ensure controls are in place. Applies financial knowledge/experience and works with central RA finance functions to solve complex/technical financial requirements.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work across functional areas and present financial data to management. * Strong analytical skills. Proficient in handling large amounts of data from multiple sources and providing business analysis for complex processes. * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment. Independent problem resolution and follow-through. * Strong accounting background to support control environments relating to complex revenue recognition methodology and new financial models. **Desired Qualifications** * Financial analysis experience in a manufacturing/services business environment. CPA and/or MBA a plus. * Experience with SAP.
