AOL's Finance Team is looking for a Principal Financial Analyst to support the Corporate & Technologies groups.
Responsibilities
* Advanced working knowledge of spreadsheet applications and databases. * Works with managers to create, revise and reforecast annual plans. * Works with managers to create, revise and reforecast Capital investment plans * Researches complex financial and economic trends and developing short-term forecasts. * Forecasts revenue, expenses and expenses based on historical and current business information. * Tracks and analyzes actuals vs. budgeted departmental expenses. * Communicates more complex financial related information to a wide variety of executives and teams. * Project lead with lower level analysts. * Creates highly complex reports and summaries on regular or adhoc basis. * May perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics; CPA or MBA preferred * 7+ years relevant experience in an FP&A environment. * Expert in managing and prioritizing multiple projects while producing insightful, relevant, and reliable quantitative analyses and reports in a deadline oriented work environment. * Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint. * Knowledge of US GAAP. * Experience using financial systems; Hyperion and SAP a plus * Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
