GL Accountant

Jive's corporate accounting group needs an experienced accountant to help with our business. This person will play a critical role within the team to help provide group managers and executives up to the minute information to help make informed business decisions in various business areas.

* Review commission calculations and perform reconciliations to ensure calculations are in accordance with sales compensation plans * Provide support to the payroll and sales functions in relation to commissions calculations * Work directly with finance and sales ops leaders to review sales compensation plans and assist in the development of those plans when necessary * Participate in the royalty calculation process, and communication with royalty vendors, including error correction, review of statements for accuracy, and statement finalization * Complete certain month end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations * Perform various detailed financial analysis of major income statement and balance sheet components * Participate in the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, including preparation of detailed schedules * Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of our testing of internal controls * Identify process and/or system improvement opportunities, recommend solutions, obtain necessary approval and assist with implementation * Assist in other ad-hoc sales and go-to-market projects as needed
