Summary
As a Recruiting Coordinator at Redfin, you’ll be responsible for bringing everything together for our recruiting teams. You’re going to work closely with our Recruiting Manager, Recruiters, Hiring Managers and candidates, contributing to the overall success of our recruiting process. You’ll coordinate interview loops and travel for candidates, create offer packages for new hires and shepherd them through the on-boarding process. You’ll ensure that every single person that applies for a position with Redfin is responded to swiftly, and in a respectful way. You’ll be a direct and impactful presence in how Redfin is viewed as a place to work.
Responsibilities
* **Coordinate and support the interview process**: scheduling phone screens & interviews for teams across the country, coordinate travel and process expense reimbursement * **Offers and onboarding**: schedule interview debriefs, update our candidate tracking system, prepare offer letters, and partner with HR for onboarding handoff * **Job Postings and Advertising**: manage our job board postings, assist with social media presence as needed * **Multitasking**: you’ll be able to juggle priorities as you will be the go-to person for recruiting help and may pitch in on events, projects or digging into the latest creative recruiting idea
Ideal Candidate
* **A knack for organization**: you can’t help but create lists for things, you’re married to your Outlook or Google calendar, and you have flawless attention to detail. * **A gentle touch**: you know how to craft polite but sincere and clear communication via email that’s hard to misinterpret. You are passionate about creating a positive candidate experience. * **Work-horse ethic**: you’ll have plenty of work with deadlines; you’ll need to be focused and committed to following through daily. You also look beyond the daily work to find ways to improve things around you. * **Tech-ease**: you’ve got to be familiar with Microsoft Office tools especially Outlook & Excel, and have a natural ability to pick-up on new programs and tools. Experience with Google Calendars and an Applicant Tracking System such as Jobvite is ideal. * **Smarts**: a bachelor’s degree, you communicate & write well * **Experience**: at least one-year supporting a recruiting team * **Tech Savvy**: you know systems, use social networks, are comfortable in a paperless environment, and are always on the lookout for ways to use technology to make your life easier.
