We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, high energy Regional Sales Managers for our Ohio / Pennsylvania regions to support rapid growth in those regions. * Become an expert on our innovative software and solutions * Develop opportunities for technical demos with decision makers and close sales * Exceed targets and grow revenue by successfully managing and continually maintaining your sales pipeline. * Network with professionals in similar markets for developing business lead exchange. * Understand and stay close to customers’ business, needs, challenges and expectations. * Maintain a thorough understanding of the transportation and oil and gas industries, including industry trends, business processes and key competitors * Implement ‘best practices’ sales processes for this rapidly growing technology provider * Develop strategies to generate leads and support sales * Cold call to businesses to set initial appointments/ demonstrations and discovery meetings * Up-sell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships * Able to challenge prospects to make smart choices; being able to understand the needs * 20-50% travel required including regional and national destinations
Ideal Candidate
* 3 to 5 years' proven experience of increasing sales, revenue and profitability of solutions * Proven sales experience of at least $500K in revenue. * Proven ability to sell to VP and C-level executives * Star performer who is self-driven and loves the thrill of a new challenge * Determined hunter: you thrive on finding new business opportunities and closing the deal * Excellent forecasting and revenue goal achievement skills * Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or equivalent related experience * Knowledge of Solution Selling model * Knowledge of Salesforce, able to manage and update CRM * Knowledge of our markets and our industry is a plus * Excellent presentation and communication skills * Strong relationship building skills
