Summary
Under limited supervision configure Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud for new Benefits plans and providers and maintain rates for benefit deductions when changes are necessary. Apply fundamental knowledge of United States (US) Benefits Administration to support the Benefits department with Human Resources Information System (HRIS) support on a daily basis and during annual open enrollment. Administer life events in Benefits module on a daily basis. Coordinate with Payroll department to ensure correct rates are extracted from Oracle HCM and imported into Automatic Data Processing (ADP) PayForce. Liaise with IT Support to troubleshoot, test and resolve issues with system. Provide reporting support as required.
Responsibilities
* Assist with Benefits & HRIS projects as directed and maintain HRIS systems * Administer and maintain employee data transactions, benefit elections, data integrity, and benefits/HRIS related reporting requirements * Develop code according to specifications and requirements as documented specific to benefits administration * Provide administrative and technical support * Assume ownership of technical issues related to benefits * Resolve benefits and system related questions, issues, and change requests * Develop/maintain employee communication and training documentation * Create custom and ad hoc reports and run scheduled reports needed by end-users * Responsible for all interfaces to vendors and the development of other required reports * Audit, analyze and interpret large amounts of data * Document testing results for data interfaces * Stay current on new/innovative practices and trends in Benefits field * May include some international benefits support * Assist the Human Resources department by supporting, maintaining, upgrading and testing HR applications and software using applications as assigned or requested * Support employee directory data updates by maintaining employee records including new hires, transfers, position changes and terminations * Apply a solution centered approach to overcoming technical and administrative challenges *Act in a safe manner at all times and ensure that those around them do not put themselves or others at risk * Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:** * 3 Years of experience administering HRIS/HCM systems * Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or related field * Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or related field **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:** * Ability to communicate technical data and analysis findings into understandable terms * General understanding of HRIS systems, Human Resources concepts, best practices, and procedures * Attention to detail is essential * Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher and PL/SQL preferred * Knowledge of Oracle HR (EBS / Cloud) and Oracle Time and Labor preferred * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Self-starter who is able to multi-task * Ability to analyze, interpret data and solve problems * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization * Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks * Ability to produce, analyze and distribute large amounts of data from supported databases through basic programming * Knowledge of SQL language * Knowledge of database design, structure, functions and processes * Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, confidentiality and good judgment * Employee is required to conduct business with the highest legal and ethical standards * Experienced use of Microsoft Office including proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
