Summary
We are looking for individuals to enter our 18 month HR Development Program during which you will be honing your HR skills and you’ll be involved and learn all the facets of employee development, employee relations/labor relations, policy/contract interpretation, compensation administration, staffing and legal compliance under the guidance of a more Senior HR Professional. This 18 month program incorporates structured rotational learning experiences without having to make you pack your bags and move every few months.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the culture & working environment is open, empowering, fair and equitable. * Recruitment, talent development, and realignments/restructures. * Develop and execute people processes that attract, train, and retain employees to support the organization's short and long term business needs. * Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors on people management and development issues. * Establish and Maintain effective “win – win” working relationships with (and between) managers, employees and the union (where applicable). * Flawless execution of HR laws and applications, employee communications, employee relations. * Support Nestlé in its continuous improvement initiatives. * Driving the Nutrition, Health and Wellness initiatives in your location.
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements:** Master’s degree in Business, HR, or related field completed it by December 2016. **Preferred Requirements:** * Related majors include: Labor Relations, HR Management, and Human Capital * 0 or above cumulative GPA * Previous HR experience in manufacturing or distribution center environments **Additional Requirements:** * Available to start the program January 2017 * Willing to relocate throughout career, as required * Willing to travel on the job as required * For factory assignments, willing to support off shift coverage and work extended hours as needed * Sponsorship for work visas are not available for this program **Knowledge & Skills:** * Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data * Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Outlook and Access). Preferred experience with an HRIS system (such as PeopleSoft or SAP) * Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills * Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines * Must be detail oriented and have strong problem solving and decision making skills * Must be able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization * Must possess good presentation and training skills
