Summary
The Research & Marketing role will support Listing Services Management in Marketing, Sales Support & Strategy efforts. The role is broken down into project management, marketing research & listing services sales support.
Responsibilities
* Organize and drive forward strategic Listing Services initiatives * Provide scheduled updates to management on progress and next steps * Engage with internal teams to create & review data & marketing collateral * Produce custom marketing and visibility proposals and support presentations for a C-Level audience. * Create interactive presentations for a C-Level Audience * Produce statistical analyses of individual company market performance, liquidity, standard deviation and trading characteristics of issuers. * Provide detailed data analysis for external consumption (PR & Media outlets) * Respond to requests from issuers for information. * Responsible for custom pitch materials, presentations and marketing proposals. * Conduct company-specific research, including peer comparisons. Research and interpret financial and statistical data from a variety of databases for presentation to company management. * Provide analytical analysis to Client Service Directors detailing trading anomalies, market structure differences, and other liquidity events.
Ideal Candidate
**Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:** * Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or equivalent experience * Experience Required: 3 to 5 years; preferably with 18 months experience in statistical analysis or creative presentation of independent research and proficiency in the use of databases, spreadsheets and presentation software **Skills, Requirements and Competencies:** * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints and be detail oriented. * Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and organization skills * Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel,(advance level of expertise in spreadsheet & presentation creation/design). Knowledge of FactSet, Bloomberg, Access and SQL is a plus. * Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities. * Understands key business drivers. * Is accountable for developing functional knowledge. * Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyses possible solutions using existing experience, existing standards/ precedents and processes. * Gathers data on competitors and analyzes their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution. * Assists with navigating the customer organization and identifying the customer’s unique strategic objectives, business challenges and operational processes. * Assists with identifying customer’s key decision-makers; maintains this customer information in internal sales systems. * Enters, transcribes, records, stores, or maintains standard information in written or electronic form. * Understands the full array of Nasdaq’s offerings and areas of expertise. * Has a working knowledge of competitors’ products and services as well as their strengths and weaknesses. * Demonstrates familiarity with customer’s organization, keeps current on the customer’s key strategic objectives and business challenges. * Assists with testing /validating data and creating initial summaries. * Applies basic data analytic techniques to preform standard analyses.
