Summary
The Marketing Data Analyst is a critical role in driving results in the Marketing Group. The Marketing Data Analyst works across all internal marketing teams to help them achieve their objectives by providing timely analysis to support business decisions. You’ll develop a broad understanding of the Fisher Investments marketing process and data environment as well as essential skills for marketing analytics and project management. You’ll identify areas for improvement, and lead complex analysis across online and offline channels that impacts groups within and outside of Marketing. Your fact-driven analysis will be a key contributor to the success of Marketing, which ultimately builds the success of the firm. A successful candidate is someone who is both technically strong and business savvy, with a passion for making an impact through creative storytelling and timely action.
Responsibilities
* Work with marketing management to support all phases of marketing efforts * Monitor key performance metrics, identify emerging trends, and drive business impact through timely recommendations and actions, and ensure accurate results in the data & analysis * Lead both ad-hoc analysis and complex analytics projects * Collaborate with other analysts, marketing managers, and engineers on both strategic initiatives and ongoing data infrastructure enhancement projects * Own end-to-end campaign analysis, analyze and mine both structured CRM data and unstructured web data to uncover insights, and discover optimization opportunities * Conduct deep dive analysis on prospect journey, lead flow, and ads marketplace dynamics * Design and execute experiments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize campaign / creative optimization * Conduct statistical data analysis using linear models, multivariate analysis, survey sampling, etc. * Research new ways for modeling prospect behavior through quantitative analysis
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or related field, with experience in data science or marketing analytics preferred * Broad understanding and experience with SQL, relational databases, MS Access, Excel, statistical software and scripting languages * Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions * Demonstrated leadership and self-direction, capacity for learning new skills, and willingness to share knowledge and teach others * A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education/experience * Strong statistics and analytical skills are required
