Summary
We’re looking for a product marketing expert to join our Growth Marketing Team. In this role, you’ll serve as marketing strategist, advocate and conduit back to the broader marketing department for Moz Content and Followerwonk. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills who has expertise in social media and/or content marketing.
Responsibilities
* Act as marketing strategist and conduit to the broader marketing team for Moz Content and Followerwonk. * Coordinate go-to-market activities on all Moz Content and Followerwonk product launches for the marketing department, including positioning, messaging, promotions and coordinating product training for internal stakeholders. * Advocate within marketing for the support and bandwidth necessary to meet product goals. * Maintain product positioning strategy and documents for aligned products. * Measure the success of ongoing marketing initiatives and one-off campaigns and provide regular reporting to product group. * Drive continued use and growth of products/features by identifying optimization opportunities, prioritizing areas of opportunity, and creating customer-facing campaigns/tests. * Test and analyze the effectiveness of product-related communications. Communicate results and optimize future programs. * Provide strategic insight to product group and marketing by tracking industry trends, understanding competitive solutions, and collecting/analyzing user insights. * Contribute content and thought leadership pieces to support the growth of aligned products.
Ideal Candidate
* 5-7 years experience in product marketing or similar role, desirably in B2B SaaS or similar industry. * Subject matter expertise and thought leadership in social media and/or content marketing. * Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently. * Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task effectively. * Strong written and verbal communications skills. * Excellent problem solver, creative thinker, and extremely self-motivated. * Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical groups.
