Seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a commercial electronics company located in Irvine. Are you looking that start-up company but not the risk of s start-up? The small nimble R&D environment where you make an impact on their products? Our client is a 20 year established company with a new product line and R&D team serving the commercial wireless applications. The Mechanical Engineer will be part of the cross functional R&D team. The company is positioned to grow from 50 employees to over 80 with growth in 2017.

• Responsible for the design and development of hand held mobile devices and systems
• Responsible for designing products using SolidWorks CAD software
• Develop plastic molds using advanced molding techniques, including two-shot molding for integrated designs using different materials
• Lead projects and meet milestones
• Transfer technology to manufacturing

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, or, related discipline
• 5+ years hands on experience as a product design engineer or similar
• Experience with plastic molding (two-shot/double-shot)
• Strong design experience in SolidWorks
• Ability to communicate and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel a plus (under 10%)
