Summary
As a Facility Engineer at our expanding Dover site, you will support Facilities activities related to new and existing projects, plant layout changes and improvements, AUTO CAD Drawing and files management, Ongoing facilities maintenance activities, QA initiatives and safety improvements/coordination. Provide support with site contractor's supervision and management, Contractor safety awareness, cGMP compliance, RFQ for projects and improvements; provide specifications for Facilities Improvement needs to vendors and follow-up of procurement requirements.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily support and supervision of onsite contractor's activities to comply with scheduled timely completion. * Evaluate and support contractors scope of work for ongoing improvements related to design verifications, Installation verifications, Quality of workmanship and material used, contractor safety requirements, Quality compliance and timely schedule adherence. * Provide specifications and/or manage installation of other building projects to provide improved work and production areas and systems. * Evaluate and provide details of electrical and mechanical projects for capital budgets. * Support energy conservation measures/projects. * Assess and recommend course of action in emergency situations. * Provide Facilities and plant improvement related AUTO CAD designs, upgrades, changes and files management. * Provide support with vendor required specification, request for quotations, procurement documents and follow-up, vendor support and coordination, timely delivery of goods and services verification. * Support plant and facilities maintenance activities with the Sr. Plant Engineer.
Ideal Candidate
* BS or AS in Mechanical or equivalent engineering degree. * Minimum of 3 years' experience in Facilities Engineering, Project Engineering and Management. **Preferred Skills and Experience** * Proven Facilities Engineering skills in Manufacturing Plant with new/ existing improvements, projects and activities. * Working knowledge of environmental compliance, OSHA safety requirements and cGMP compliances. * Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams. * Ability to analyze, design, plan and manage installations. * Excellent communications skills – must be able to develop specifications, proposals, RFP's and presentations and communicate effectively within the organization, both laterally and vertically. * Hands on experience with “AutoCAD “layouts/ designs related to Architructural, Plant equipment relocations, AUTO CAD file managements, Solid Works CAD system, MS Project, and MS Office. * Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships on all levels. * Demonstrated ability to work on multiple high priority projects in a high-speed environment. (Multi-tasking, Time management). * Ability to work as an independent contributor or as a leader of sub-groups or teams to effectively solve machinery problems. * Demonstrated project management skills. * Analytical, problem solving, and information gathering skills. * Working knowledge of “SOLIDWORKS” or equivalent CAD software, MS Project, and MS Office
