Summary
Ensure consistent, profitable growth through effective planning and management of an Inside Sales Team and through interaction with customers and prospects. Assist in the development of strategies for achieving success while developing, implement and maintaining effective tactics. Partner with key contacts in supporting departments to develop programs, projects and pricing required to be successful in the assigned segment. Exceed sales plan while creating/emphasizing an environment that values Customers First and Colleague Engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead an Inside Sales team to ensure that Sales Plans are met and exceeded. - Create an environment that values and expects accuracy in forecasting and pipeline management. - Monitor and evaluate competitive sales efforts and develop tactical plans to address. - Drive activities that will maximize Customers First efforts. - Develop and maintain a healthy sales environment that emphasizes Colleague Engagement. - Partner with supporting groups to develop new products, programs and pricing to meet market needs. - Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to negotiate contracts and agreements with customers. **Specific Job Duties** - Achieve assigned Sales Plan via renewal/growth of existing accounts and new business acquisition. - Deliver accurate monthly & quarterly forecasting in a timely manner. - Successfully lead a team selling complex products in a fast paced environment. - Strong working knowledge of CRM. - Coach and inspect Rep and Team pipelines for accuracy. - Oversee High Touch activities for the team, including definition of call objectives and ensuring calls are completed in a timely manner. - Develop individualized rep development plans and coach to ensure success. - Monitor sales activities and provide feedback on a regular basis. - Maintain allocated headcount. - Develop and implement action plans to achieve assigned Customer Engagement goals. - Develop and implement action plans to achieve assigned Colleague Engagement goals. - Assist team in negotiating large and/or difficult deals. - Professionally handle customer complaints.
Ideal Candidate
* B/A or equivalent work experience **Required Experience** * 3-5 years of successful Sales experience, preferably in an Inside Sales environment. * 3 years of successful Sales Management experience required. (external) * Experience with a subscription based product preferred. * History of strong forecasting and pipeline accuracy. **Other Skills** * Demonstrated record of high achievement and success. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Working knowledge of MS Office. * Results oriented, assertive and innovative. * Ability and desire to constantly seek to create improved customer value. **Travel** * Not applicable in most positions. Some may require up to 5% travel.
