Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for driving warranty solutions to our existing customer base for Verathon’s Bladderscan and Glidescope medical devices, with a secondary responsibility of selling devices to facilities that are not targeted by our outside sales force. Responsibilities
* Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas by actively promoting Verathon’s products and services in designated territories and healthcare markets. * Manage business pipeline and provide accurate forecasts. * Make 30 – 60 outbound calls and/or emails per day, successfully navigating through organizations of all sizes, farming the installed base for warranty sales, and hunting for new capital placements in contracted non-acute customers. * Partner with field sales team to drive winning solutions within the assigned geography. * Combat and overcome customer objections utilizing product knowledge, negotiating skills, and a keen ear for unspoken obstacles. * Build and maintain a high level of integrity and trust for specific products and the Verathon brand at the customer level. * Occasional on-site customer visits to consult and sell Verathon products. * Manage customer records in CRM: Salesforce.com. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree required * High energy and self-motivated * Passion for sales and providing a high level of service to client base, while achieving personal success. * Dynamic personality with a positive attitude that customers can genuinely feel over the phone. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to perform and remain focused in a highly active and demanding sales environment. * Strong computer skills including MS Office. * Effective time management, organization, and commitment to the Verathon sales process. * Willing and able to learn and follow FDA/GMP and ISO regulations.
