Sales Representative

* Work with our Lead Generation team to manage the complete sales process from prospect to close; including cold calling, product demonstrations via Go-to-Meeting, proposals and sales contracts. * Consistently meet/exceed sales quota. * Immerse yourself in the education technology landscape and product knowledge, and contribute to Schoology’s strategic growth. * Occasional travel to trade shows may be required.

* 2+ years of experience selling with a proven track record of success. Experience in the Education market helpful, but not required. * Ability to succeed within a high volume sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines and closing business. * Consistently described as fast learning, organized and independent. * Resourceful and diligent in maintaining CRM data. Salesforce CRM experience preferred, but not required. * Competitive drive to beat targets, positive attitude and incredible work ethic. * Top-notch communication, articulation and presentation skills. * Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. * 4-year college degree (BA/BS) required. * Flexibility to work on different time zone schedules.
