Summary
iCIMS is looking to add an User Experience Analyst to the award-winning User Experience (UX) and Interactive Development and Design (IDD) team. As a User Experience Analyst, you’ll assist in the execution of the defined User Experience (UX) process, gather content and functional requirements, ensure proper usage of UX testing methodologies, and create testing materials supporting UX test moderation and analysis. In this role, you’ll partner closely with key departments ensuring the successful execution of complex projects and campaigns. Responsibilities
* Design research - User testing, User Persona development, analysis of customer/prospect data for insights that could inform design direction * The development of various content architectures when needed. This would include: * Organizing content into logical groupings and identifying the primary points of access and user task flows * Organizing the overall functional flow of interactive pieces, identify relationships between functional elements with task flows * Creating functional layout of information and navigational design in the form of flow charts, branching documents, annotated wireframes, and functional templates with description * Assist in the creation of design that works to build persuasion, empathy, trust, and a superior user experience * Assisting in the execution of Prospect Marketing, CustomerMarketing, and Core Product Design content strategies * Creating and executing against project plans for each assignment on time and on budget * Assisting in ensuring consistency of language and product references across channels/touch points * Copywriting/Editing – Reviewing all external Customer/Prospect-facing copy * Script creation – Review language used by customer service, product positioning, etc. * Being a resource to coordinators for brainstorming (new campaign creative) * Account planning – Being a resource to coordinators for marketing innovation, new campaign types/ideas
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s Degree * Minimum of 1 year experience in user centered design- HFI -CUA (Certified User Analyst) preferred but not required. * Excellent writing skills and ability to produce enough project documentation, business requirements documentation and functional specifications to drive successful development. * Must possess an understanding of basic site usability and architecture principles. * Basic knowledge of processes required for developing and delivering interactive applications * Basic knowledge in working with prototyping tools such as Axure * Experience in client presentation and consulting skills for interactive design and development * Basic project management knowledge including estimating engagement, effort, duration and resources * Demonstrated ability to prioritize components of short- and long-term projects and escalations * Proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams to achieve results
