UX Designer

CBSi UX Designers are asked to develop concise feature design briefs, logic flows and wireframes that take into consideration evolving functionality, technological innovation, marketing and their effects on product or company revenue. Conceptualizing from a product view, he/she will work closely with product managers, researching data and stats to support UX direction, help provide requirements when needed and develop interactive prototypes. While conceiving and developing well-crafted user experiences, this individual must be able to work in collaboration with other team members.

Business units to be worked on will include the iOS apps, Android apps, Roku and other OTT platforms. The individual will also define how CBS All Access (our new digital streaming subscription service) is presented on these platforms. Responsibilities include working on projects from start to finish, creating and communicating concepts, developing interactive design solutions and designing user experiences. They will work with a collaborative team of producers, developers, product leads and respective marketing/sales clients.

The candidate must have excellent communication skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm and a fine eye for detail. They must also be able to work independently, proactively gather consensus from multiple internal stakeholders and be able to change tasks quickly based on shifts in priorities or urgent deadlines. All candidates will be required to show a portfolio of their work. * Must have a solid portfolio showcasing UX mobile app designs. * Must consider themselves a UX Design expert. * Must be a team player. * Must have extremely strong conceptual skills. * Must have iOS and Android experience. * Must have an understanding of common design issues, challenges and guidelines. * Must be experienced in designing for content-heavy layouts. * Must be comfortable giving presentations to stakeholders. * Must be experienced in Omnigraffle. * Knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects) a plus. * Prototyping experience a plus. * User testing and data analysis skills a plus. * Experience working in an Agile environment a plus. * Entertainment experience a plus. * Must successfully pass a background check
