Summary
The Product Marketing Manager is an important role in theTest, Measurement & Emulation Market Business team at Xilinx. In this role, you will contribute to Xilinx’s continued success by participating in the definition, development & execution of the market business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support development of the strategic plans for the business (incl. platform strategy, IP &solutions roadmaps and ecosystem partner strategy) - Analyzing markets and customer requirements - Drive creation and execution of high value products incollaboration with Product Planning and Engineering - Support execution of Business Development strategies - Contribute to Sales account growth plans - Provide systems architecture and solutions support forsales efforts - Supporting Sales in articulating solutions to customers,distribution and partners - Develop system-level design-in applications collateral (such as, articles, demos, technical keynotes, panel presentations, and tradeshow support). - Building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners & distributors Implementing “go to market” plans by working withmultiple organizations - Preparing effective outbound marketing collateral - We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has technical expertise in the Test & Measurement or Emulation & Prototyping markets,working with multiple organizations on the implementation of amarketing/business strategy, while supporting the business ecosystem (customers, sales, partners, distribution). **Product Introduction and Growth Management** - Ensures rigorous market, customer, and competitive analysis - Contributes to the development of go-to-market plans in support of new or expanded opportunities (e.g., target applications, forecasts, milestones, deliverables, partner IP) - Supports resolution of key account or customer-base geography issues with supply chain or production - Ensures optimum positioning of Xilinx and its products at marketing events and customer engagements - Ensures that the sales force is continuously updated on changing strategies (e.g., pricing, product introduction field schedules) **Product Requirements Management** - Drives product definition activities across stakeholders (e.g., customers, sales, system architects, field application engineers, market research) - Critically reviews product usage and challenges across customer base or segment in pursuit of value propositions that can be abstracted, elevated, and generalized
Ideal Candidate
- Must have a technical understanding of FPGA designs and related typical design workflows - Experience in the Test & Measurement or Emulation &Prototyping markets is required - Experience in designing systems using FPGAs is required - Prior working experience with FPGA ecosystem – customers, partners, software & tools, distributors, etc., is required in this role - Ability to understand and document technical and architectural requirements - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability in writing application notes, white papers, technical documentation and customer presentations - Detail-oriented personality, with the ability to track multiple programs - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment - Self motivated, effective, can-do attitude, who will thrive in a team environment - Travel, up to 20% of the time **Qualifications** - BSEE/MSEE or equivalent - At least 7+ years of experience in a Product Marketing, Technical Marketing or Field Applications Engineering role in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the FPGA product line.
