Summary
Groupon is seeking a tenacious, self-starting Customer Growth Marketing Manager to join our Global Customer Growth team. Candidates must have experience in marketing operations, project management, and program leadership. Candidate must be comfortable working with cross functional teams and thrive in fast paced environment. This is a chance to join a high performance team that is leading Groupon’s customer lifecycle management including acquisition, retention and reactivation.
Responsibilities
* Lead marketing operations, campaign strategy and optimization for Customer Growth programs and initiatives * Lead development of marketing campaigns including planning, A/B testing, deployment, reporting and optimization * Provide thought leadership to optimize and expand customer activation, retention, and reactivation programs * Make recommendations to management of strategies, roadmaps, and operating plans for e-mail channel * Work with design/creative teams to develop marketing creative that drive response * Track and report on performance of campaigns and optimization initiatives to internal stakeholders * Identify and capitalize on opportunities to optimize customer experience that drive incremental revenue * Partner with engineering and operations teams to implement tech advancements and new strategies * Communicates clearly with business leadership and presents findings in the form of recommendations
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years in database driven marketing, CRM experience prefered * Bachelor degree in Marketing; Master degree in Marketing or MBA is a plus * Strategic program development and big picture thinking in consumer e-commerce merchandising * Familiarity with key marketing metrics – solid analytical expertise * Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized in direct online channels (email, mobile notifications, social) * Ability to travel up to 15% - both domestically and internationally * Highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve * Self-starter, highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve
