Summary
The Marketing Technology Manager (MTM) works closely with Marketing Managers across multiple business units to define goals and execute digital marketing initiatives. This includes email, lead nurturing initiatives, list management and email template development and website landing pages. Working with the data/analytics manager the MTM will drive the achievement of Marketing KPI’s and provide ongoing actionable insight reporting back to the marketing staff. This position requires experience in building (html), customizing, deploying, and optimizing complex digital marketing campaigns utilizing a Marketing Automation tool. The qualified candidate possesses a well-rounded understanding of marketing automation platforms, html, responsive techniques for email, ongoing list maintenance, business processes and the ability to spot and act on trends occurring in the digital marketing field.
Responsibilities
* Partner with Marketing Managers and Marketing Tech team to ensure successful building and deployment of email marketing campaigns both in Pardot and Salesforce Engage. * Continuously improve our website by ensuring updates and changes are on strategy, on brand and deliver positive results our determined goals. * Lead the customer interaction technology support for major trade shows, including integration into marketing automation and CRM platforms. * Create, test, analyze, train, deploy and report on new lead nurturing email campaigns, and refine strategies based upon market changes. * Create and maintain responsive email templates. * Work with Marketing Managers, Lead Gen and Sales to develop drip campaigns, lead nurturing campaigns and predicrtve analytics to capitalize on more leads and shorten the sales process. * Utilizing dynamic content ensure customers and prospects have a positive, consistent brand experience receiving the right information at the right time. * Ensure Marketing Tech team’s technology solutions are being utilized to their fullest to meet and exceed our defined goals. * Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and how they may compliment the companies’ current tools to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness. * Work with Data Analytics team to measure and report on digital marketing campaign results, compare against initial benchmarks and provide recommendations to strengthen key metrics * Act as subject matter expert surrounding email marketing best practices; provide subject matter expertise on email marketing operations including latest information regarding online legislation such as global CAN-SPAM and online privacy. * Assist in managing communication strategy and calendar.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications & Requirements** * Solid understanding of website and email metrics and performance drivers * Experience programming responsive website landing pages (prefer Drupal experience) * Experience with Pardot, or other Marketing Automation systems; certification preferred * Well-rounded strategist in email marketing with current knowledge of industry best practices including CAN-SPAM compliance (USA & Canada), contact strategies, design, A/B testing, delivery and deliverability, lead nurturing, segmentation, and analytics/performance management * Strong project management, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with the ability to work under firm deadlines and within a rapidly changing environment * Attention to detail, with a strong drive for accuracy; process and quality orientation * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects * Salesforce and Salesforce Engage experience a plus **Preferred Attributes** * Takes ownership to drive outcomes * Displays constant intellectual curiosity- asks questions to ensure better outcome, understanding of big picture and context * Exhibits a sense of urgency in everything we do * Is passionate * Promotes agile/quick deploy models (i.e. we’re responsive and it doesn’t take us forever to get something out to the market/sales) * Cultivates effective relationships within the team and across the business
