Summary
A business-facing resource responsible for transforming business objectives into a format that supports incremental delivery, executable requirements and automated testing. Supports the active product owner by providing discipline, rigor and technical knowledge to the requirement definition and validation process.
Responsibilities
**Scoping** * Participates in scope definition and developing business requirements for the business * Provides business systems analysis and process redesign expertise, interacting with business partners to clearly define and document business requirements * Ability to identify a desired future state that addresses a business problem **Requirements** * Able to present business needs as a story and visualize requirements * May coordinate with the User Experience team to define when User Experience work is needed and how performing this work fits into the overall project schedule. **Technical Skills** * Participates in and/or drives the system configuration which meets security, architecture, and support requirements, all while satisfying business needs * Participates in system emergency or crisis situations to define/implement workaround processes, corrective action, communication, and system clean-up activities. **Testing** * Participates and/or coordinates required testing/validation of system enhancements and fixes, creating and/or executing the test cases including problem determination and resolution. * Coordinate with development team for resolution of defects or production issues.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 5 to 7 years of SAP FICO experience (General Ledger, COPA, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Asset Accounting) * Outstanding knowledge and experience in developing, configuring and implementing SAP FICO * Strong experience in supply chain business processes * Must have been involved with at least 2 full end to end FICO implementations * Work experience with Taxware, sales and use tax compliance and understanding of US Tax laws and regulations * A good understanding of the main integration points between FICO and SD, CRM, MM, WM, BW or ABAP * A Finance business background would be preferable with accounting qualification as an advantage * Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills * Bachelor degree in Business area or IS or equivalent work experience as appropriate based on job level (see matrix for specifics) * Knowledge of Agile/Lean framework and methodology * Ability to produce detailed, comprehensive software documentation, such as requirements specs, design docs, and change logs. (incorporate technical requirements for user stories) * Ability to work in a highly collaborative team consisting of both technical and business members where functionality is designed and released on a biweekly basis * Pursues learning beyond scope of current assignments. * Able to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience. * Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.
