Summary
GAINSCO is seeking a Contract Corporate Recruiter for an indefinite contract. The Contract Recruiter will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting across multiple business units. Recruitment will include exempt and non-exempt positions.
Responsibilities
* Meet with hiring managers to develop a complete understanding of each opening * Develop an appropriate strategy with the hiring team for attracting qualified candidates. * Develop creative sourcing solutions for filling difficult positions by using knowledge of current external recruiting practices and trends. * Proactively and effectively “Hunt” for candidates deemed to be potential candidates * “Farm” the internal applicant tracking database and external databases for candidates. Cold calling of candidates required. * Accurately maintain and update applicant-tracking system (HRSmart) * Drive the closure of open requisition by diligently following up with hiring managers and managing the recruiting process. * Prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently. * Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in an extremely fast-paced, changing, and high growth environment * Passion for and dedication to bringing top talent to GAINSCO
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS degree preferred * 2+ years proven recruiting experience in a corporate or third party environment in the P&C insurance industry preferred. * Proficient with the use of technology such as, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc, to proactively source candidates * Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands. * Ability to confidently influence and negotiate with candidates of various levels of experience * Ability to work well in an extremely fast-paced, changing, and high growth environment is essential * Ideal candidate will be passionate about recruiting and will have the ability to persevere through multiple obstacles to get the job done * Self-managed and driven to exceed goals * Regular attendance
