Our team is growing fast and we’re looking for an experienced Recruiter to drive all recruiting efforts, including proactively sourcing candidates, ensuring quick hire time and other related tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure we can stay nimble and effective by helping us find and bring on amazing new team members, and help management ensure their long-term success.
  • Work with hiring managers across the organization to plan growth, refine positions, and develop job descriptions.
  • Provide hiring managers with insights and feedback as a strategic business partner on everything from compensation to benefits to legal compliance.
  • Find and recruit top notch people for a wide range of roles, ensuring that candidates understand what makes CartoDB special.
  • Guide candidates through the CartoDB recruiting process in a timely and effective manner, with frequent touch points and excellent follow through
  • Drive the internal recruiting process through the applicant tracking system and associated documents
  • Plan events and conduct outreach to build our network and brand.
  • Assist with other HR and operations tasks, as needed.
Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ Years as a recruiter, preferably at a high-growth start-up.
  • Past success being an ambassador for an organization or cause. You love putting your energy and creativity into connecting with new people and building networks.
  • A Strong attention to detail and an amazing ability to stay organized.
  • Demonstrated success in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and in the wider world
  • Sharp thinking, and the ability to stay positive and move the ball forward even in hectic situations
  • Penchant for problem solving, and extreme pride in a job well done
  • Utmost respect for confidentiality
  • A consistent sense of urgency. You understand the importance of helping us move quickly and react smartly.
