Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing general accounting duties within the Finance Department. These duties include, but are not be limited to, the billing and collection of services provided, maintenance of the accounting system, and general support of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and the Finance Department as a whole.

* Create and send monthly invoices in a timely manner * Reconcile monthly invoices to client’s services * Process Client payments * Assist in the collection of past due accounts * Provide follow-up with Clients concerning account reconciliations * Assist in monthly-end revenue reconciliation and closing * Maintain Client records in NetSuite * Maintain a positive relationship with Clients through phone and email communications * Process changes in service on client invoice records * Perform various clerical duties such as filing, archiving, database maintenance, etc

* General knowledge of accounting * Experience with Microsoft Office products * A minimum of 1-3 years relevant Accounting experience * The ability to perform 10-key by touch * The capability to organize and prioritize duties to meet deadlines * Experience as a team player but able to work independently
