Summary
The PeopleSoft Configuration Analyst supports and maintains PeopleSoft HCM and IBM ICM by effective employing technical skills to deliver results.
Responsibilities
* Support Ferguson’s PeopleSoft HCM and IBM ICM Implementations * Create error-free ad-hoc reports from PeopleSoft Query, Crystal Reports and Excel * Create queries for PeopleSoft end users as needed * Continuously analyze and monitor the PeopleSoft and IBM ICM application for errors * Assist users in testing new functionality, patches, reports, etc. * Plan and run user-acceptance testing * Troubleshoot queries written by end users * Troubleshoot and develop solutions when error messages occur * Maintain application security * Work on special projects as needed * Provide mentorship and support to other HR IT Analysts * Take a leadership role in overseeing the duties and responsibilities listed * Work overtime and travel as needed * In addition to the essential job functions described, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years PeopleSoft HCM and/or IBM ICM experience * Exceptional attention to detail * Strong communication skills (oral and written) * Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions * Ability to handle highly confidential information * Ability to work effectively under deadlines * Ability to handle stress and manage multiple priorities * Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative * In depth understanding of databases * Organization and time management skills * Reporting skills * Ability to work in a fast paced multitasking environment. * Excellent communication skills with users at various levels within the branches and HQ. * Flexibility to work a variety of hours (i.e.: overtime if involved in a critical issue) * Versatility to work as a team member as well as individually
