If so, we want you to lead our new, groundbreaking technical projects. Gallup is looking for an Agile Project Manager who is passionate about creating top-tiered digital product experiences. In this role, you will develop system processes that enable rapid growth of a new consumer suite of Web and mobile applications. As a technical project manager, you will be responsible for strategizing and communicating technical concepts and platform functions with a priority of pleasing our customers through early and continuous delivery of working software. Ideal candidates are leaders in conceptualizing and sourcing the best solutions to highly complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
* Manage overall communication with stakeholders on capacity tracking, delivery strategy reporting (such as burndown reports), ensuring alignment between interdependent projects and key business dates * Help the technical team stay productive by taking project issues off of their hands * Bring together project requirements from a diverse group of clients and stakeholder teams * Review technical specifications to ensure they meet functional requirements * Write and prioritize user stories and functional specifications for new sprints * Develop workflows for upcoming sprints * Plan the development roadmap and help maintain the project backlog * Work alongside a product manager and development leads to set up developer team sprints and manage developer/resource allocation across each sprint * Manage bug reporting and help prioritize bug fixes that need to interrupt a given sprint * Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and the potential application consumer-grade social Web platforms and mobile apps
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, finance or a related degree * First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is required; second level Scrum Master certification is preferred * Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a Web/mobile development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices and theory is required * Knowledge and/or experience with numerous, well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach * High-level understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design * Excellent organizational skills to ensure that the proper systems and processes are developed and implemented perfectly and on time to meet client requirements * Working knowledge of traditional and Agile development methodologies and how/when to apply them * Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc. is preferred * Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing and Agile Games is preferred * Experience as a team lead is preferred
