Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for performing vulnerability assessments and web application penetration testing based on OWASP testing guidelines.
Guide security defect resolution by identifying security defects, assisting developers in reproducing defects, recommending remediation and verifying that defects are fixed.
Lead the training of the development team on writing secure code and the OWASP Top 10
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, helping our development team design, implement and deploy secure software.

Ideal Candidate

Experience with web application penetration testing, code-level security auditing, and secure code reviews.
Working knowledge of application security tools such as: HTTP and TCP proxies, fuzzers, scanners, debuggers, etc.
Expert knowledge of Linux & Windows, TCP/IP, and Web services
Vulnerability and exploit detection and threat management experience
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong object-oriented programming (e.g. Java, C++, C#) and design skills
