Summary
The Training Specialist will be assigned several products in the DealerSocket product suite and will be responsible for preparing the Operations department for new releases and maintaining the customer training catalog for their assigned products. They will need to work closely with the Product and Readiness teams to stay informed of upcoming changes to their assigned products. The Training Specialist will be expected to quickly become an expert on all assigned products and work towards proficiency with all DealerSocket products. The Training Specialist will be expected to deliver high-quality training materials in collaboration with other members of the Training Team. Training materials include videos, interactive e-learning modules, live class flows, and assessments. Strong written quality and appealing visual design will be expected on all training materials.
Responsibilities
The Training Specialist is responsible for creating and curating training materials for the Operations department and conducting live training as necessary. The Training Specialist will report to the Director of Training for Operations. * Train new employees during New Hire Orientation as needed * Conduct ongoing in-person and virtual training for employees and customers * Create written materials, video content, interactive modules, live class flows, and assessments for use in DealerSocket training curricula * Maintain our customer training catalog amidst product enhancements and new products added via acquisition * Deliver assignments on time and with an outstanding level of quality * Work well with fellow members of the training team, subject matter experts, and departmental management to ensure that our training curricula are achieving the desired outcomes
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience with one or more DealerSocket products * Excellent track record in previous role(s) * Excellent written communication skills * Excellent presentation skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Demonstrated industry knowledge * Strong interpersonal skills * Proficiency using Microsoft Office products * Must be located in or willing to relocate to Utah Some travel will be required – up to 10%. * Drive for excellence and willingness to adapt quickly to change **Preferred Skills and Experience** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience * Experience recording and editing video tutorials * Experience with administering a Learning Management System * Aptitude for visual design * Project Management experience
