Summary
The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator position is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic, well-organized professional to assist in building and supporting marketing and business development programs for Analysis Group and its senior staff. This is a highly visible role in an organization of professional consultants who seek and value high-quality support in helping them achieve their marketing and business development goals. The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator is a strong generalist who enjoys supporting multiple projects and ongoing tasks and is comfortable taking initiative to contribute in areas needed across the marketing department.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates participation in various events, seminars, and conferences, including presenting and sponsorships; assisting with supporting materials; collaborating with other administrative staff as needed; assisting with tracking results. - Provides support for submissions to directories, surveys, and ranking organizations, and promotes results, as appropriate. - Works with marketing and business development managers and consultants in preparing materials for client presentations, RFP and qualifications packages. Proofreads materials for grammatical accuracy and consistency. - Provides marketing and business development support to consultants as needed under the guidance of a marketing and business development manager. - Responsible for recording and tracking marketing and business development outreach and activities. - Proactively assembles and updates consultant and affiliate bios and CVs in several repositories. - May assist the direct marketing/CRM team and the research team as needed with various projects. - May research and propose presenting and publishing opportunities for consultants. - Supports other marketing and business development projects and initiatives as needed.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree required - Minimum of two - four years marketing and business development experience, preferably in a professional services environment - Outstanding client service skills, including proactive approach to service and team collaboration - Strong event coordination experience - Excellent project management skills - Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including accurate proofreading and QA skills; highest attention to detail and follow through - Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and competing priorities, while staying focused on quality - Solutions-oriented, extremely organized, and experienced in serving a broad client base; resolves problems quickly and effectively - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for audiences at all levels - Outstanding interpersonal skills and diplomacy – the ability to gain consensus through influence, presence, and positive communications - Ability to identify and implement creative solutions to projects to meet the needs of the firm’s internal and external clients - Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Knowledge of CRM a plus **Physical Demands:** - Engages in office work using a computer and telephone
