Summary
Credit Karma is seeking a full-time Member Support Specialist to assist members with daily questions and concerns. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail oriented, tech-savvy, client-focused and will take ownership of small tasks and big projects with the same positive attitude. You will learn about the business processes and pain points of the brand and find ways Credit Karma can work to resolve those needs. This position is ideal for a seasoned customer service professional looking for a rewarding environment to share their expertise or for an intelligent and motivated individual looking to expand his or her experience and career options.
Responsibilities
* Help members understand the content of their credit reports, credit scores and how their actions can affect their credit * Responding to member comments and concerns in a professional, detailed and timely manner * Gathering feedback and communicating key member issues to management * Assisting management with ideas on how to improve overall member satisfaction * Ability to handle both simple high-level, everyday issues and complex issues with ease * Requires the ability to work some weekends (from home) after four months of employment * Support is done via e-mail (live chat and/or phone may be necessary in the future) * Rotating weekends after ~6 months
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrates advanced judgment and makes instinctual decisions * Effective and assertive communicator (written and verbal) * Methodical, highly organized and detail oriented, working with a high level of accuracy * Contagious passion for credit and/or personal finance * Thrive in high-pressure, highly charged and dynamic environments but also be comfortable in a slower day-to-day environment. * Excited to see a business with a startup mentality grow into something greater. * Highly motivated by your own personal and career goals * Committed to company success * Associates/Bachelor’s degree (in process or complete) is preferred, but will certainly consider equivalent experience in customer service
