Summary

TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking a Credit Coordinator - AR for one of our clients in Depew, NY.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the credit and collection policy
  • Oversees the implementation of the credit policy to minimize the potential risk to the company
  • Responsible for determining credit limits and terms for new customers utilizing D&B and credit reference reports
  • Works with customer service and sales to resolve customer issues, terms and conditions and other commercial issues to comply with SOX requirements
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers and 3rd party collection agencies
  • Researches and resolves issues with customer accounts
  • Makes collection calls and manages accounts according to company policy
  • Sends customers to collections when all collection efforts have been exhausted
  • Responsible for managing the A/R portion of the Working Capital metric for the company
  • Coordinates terms, conditions with customers between US and Foreign affiliates
  • Reconciles credit card transactions and works with Marketing when processing trade show sales
  • Handles direct cash receipts including preparation of local deposit
  • Supports the Controller and Accounting Department with other miscellaneous reporting requests as required
  • Ensures sales tax tables are up to date, and the tax status for customer accounts is properly reflected
  • Main point of contact for State Tax Audits
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual Sales tax returns
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelors of Science or Associates degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years’ prior experience working in a finance department
  • Working Knowledgeable with MS Office, including Excel and Word
  • Past experience with ERP systems, MAX, MS Dynamics helpful
  • Customer service focus
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task
