Summary
This Business Analysts will play a key role in leveraging the Resolution Planning preparation process to identify both improvement opportunities within the Resolution Planning process and the Operations and business processes that its reporting on. These improvement opportunities need to be clearly defined, scoped and most importantly achievable.
Responsibilities
* Secure, review, and provide review, audit and exam deliverables as needed validating accuracy and completeness for each requested deliverable * Complete quality assurance reviews to ensure quality of work product is complete and accurate. * Assist in tracking follow-ups and key deliverables to ensure projects and tasks remain on track including formal corrective action plans where the centralized NA Collections control team is engaged in the resolution * Compile reporting and reconciliations as needed to ensure transparency of work product (quantity and quality) for all stakeholders * Compliance background and/or previous experience implementing and conducting validation and self-assessment tests are helpful.
Ideal Candidate
* Communicates through words and actions an intense passion for, and commitment to, re-engineering and process improvements * Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio * Extremely organized and detailed * Ability to produce quality deliverables that are complete and accurate * Ability to multi task * Ability to adapt to a fluid and changing environment * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * An undergraduate degree in business, finance, other related fields. Strong analytical skills. * 3+ years of related experience in the banking industry. * Self-directed team player with high initiative to achieve desired results. * Ability to quickly resolve problems and identify broader issues for escalation. * Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt where necessary. * Able to deal with remote management is required. * Ability to be a catalyst for change. * Must be able to work effectively both independently, and in a group environment. * Strong PC skills and knowledge of analytical tools. * Continuous pattern of learning in business and operational systems.
