Summary
Partners with the Talent Acquisition Team and hiring manager to ensure new employees are oriented properly into the company. Makes sure new hire paperwork is completed appropriately and in a timely manner. Provides new employees with needed information and materials to ensure a successful transition into the Cracker Barrel workplace.
Responsibilities
* Subject Matter Expert and owner of all onboarding processes. Continuously works to improve current processes. Serves on any relevant project teams related to home office hiring. * Facilitates onboarding training for managers to ensure they have the proper tools to create a welcoming environment for new Cracker Barrel hires. * Leads the Onboarding Think Tank Team. Implements relevant feedback from new hires into the onboarding process. Plans and executes new hire events to ensure engagement into the culture including new hire social, new hire luncheon with CPO, new hire luncheon with ERGs, and implements other relevant activities. **Design and facilitate new hire orientation** * Create engaging material that meets the needs of new home office hires and eases their transition to Cracker Barrel. **Retention Analysis and Reporting** * Manages retention of home office employees by monitoring employee turnover, conducting stay interviews, conducting new employee touch bases at 30, 60, 90 days, etc. and the exit interview process. * Manages the promotion process of home office employees **Implementation and administration of Corporate Recognition Programs** * Works closely with Director of HR and Recognition project team to create and implement corporate recognition programs. **HR Project Manager** * Serves as HR Project Manager on HOHR or special projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Proficient computer skills. * Strong organizational and prioritizing skills. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Strong interviewing skills. * Strong knowledge of human resources theory and practices. * Thorough knowledge of effective recruiting practices. * Thorough knowledge of employment law.
