I. Summary Statement
Manage scheduled and ad-hoc direct marketing campaigns. Responsible for daily interaction with internal clients and creative services for all direct marketing campaigns. Act as point of contact with outside agency and outside vendors to ensure accurate creation of direct marketing campaigns. Maximize campaign efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring all direct marketing campaigns are delivered on time.
II. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Direct Marketing:

Manage the implementation of direct marketing campaigns working with outside agency, other vendors and internal departments.

Ensure that all email and direct mail communications meet corporate and program standards and are delivered according to schedule.

Liaison with outside agency on the transfer of files and ensure that all direct mail pieces have gone through NCOA and other processes to maximize deliverability.

Ensure that all communications comply with CAN SPAM requirements and that Choice is adhering to laws as they change.

Inform Reservations, Customer Service, the Choice Service Center and all other need to know departments so they are aware of each campaign and have copies for reference.

Document all campaign offers, audiences, rules and procedures and manage campaign archives.

Suggest changes and improvements to campaign design and processes.
Serving Internal Clients:

Work with a variety of internal departments to ensure that all email communications meet corporate standards and that all national promotions are accurately publicized to various audiences.

Ensure that the campaign calendar is up-to-date and available for review and deadlines.

Deploy all campaigns as scheduled and track deliverables and opens for each campaign.

Ensure that all campaigns contain the required opt-out procedures and that consumer requests are honored.
Managing Staff:

Ensure that all staff is cross-trained in order to provide back-up when required.

Ensure that all work is evenly distributed among staff.

Ensure that staff has complete understanding of tasks and projects as assigned.

Ensure that staff understands corporate mission and where our team fits into the pyramid.

Ensure that staff is provided opportunity for additional training.

Excellent verbal, written, analytical and people skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Critical thinking/problem solving skills.

Detail and numbers oriented.

Willing to travel.

Undergraduate degree in business or marketing.

3-5 of years experience in marketing.
-
Knowledge of the hospitality/travel industry helpful.

ECRM software experience helpful.
