Responsibilities
**Summary of Position** - PMI is seeking a talented professional to create and communicate marketing plans, and drive implementation of our marketing strategy according to those plans. This would include developing business analysis, positioning and messaging, and promotional activities to drive program areas to reach the organization’s annual goals while developing and delivering a strategic marketing program in alignment with both our enterprise level and business line objectives. **Duties would include but not limited to the following:** - Develop targeted, effective marketing communications that define the benefits for potential customers, individuals, and employers/organizations. - Ensure that key messages are delivered in a consistent, effective voice and vision, reflective of the PMI brand promise of the Institute. - Act as team lead in marketing sub-teams to direct and monitor the development of marketing campaigns for organizations, practitioners, or supplier markets. Serve as coach and mentor to other marketing team members. - Support and champion the PMI brand, brand standards and brand guidelines, ensuring that all deliverables comply with PMI brand standards and graphic identity guidelines. - Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal business partners and communicate regularly with all partners and co-workers regarding marketing activity, serving as primary contact point for marketing activity with program areas. - Initiate, develop, and direct implementation of specific marketing tactics, which may include advertising, direct mail, collateral, video, web content, and others. - Serve as marketing and branding subject matter expert when working with internal business partners to develop marketing materials for a global audience. - Provide analysis on the results of marketing campaigns to determine success and quantitatively report key analytics to business team while being able to alter direction of a given campaign as needed to meet target goals.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or other related business discipline. - Advanced degree preferred. - Seven or more years of progressive marketing experience. - Not-for-profit organization and global expertise desired. - Curiosity, courage and commitment. - Critical thinking and creative problem solving - Project management, multi-tasking and time management skills - Interpersonal and relationship management skills - Verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking
