Summary
Our Human Resources team partners with our business groups to align HR strategy to business strategy, particularly focusing on the attraction, development, and retention of our associates.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the HR leader for North American Distribution (with gross sales of $175B+); the new incumbent will serve on the North American Distribution HR Leadership team and drive the Human Resources activity and initiatives for the sales distribution segment supporting our Institutional, Insurance and Retirement Plans channels of a global investment management organization. There will be a strong focus on development, talent management, and employee relations * Acting as a change agent by further integrating successful and strategic human capital practices into the organization * Consulting with and influencing the business on a broad spectrum of HR matters, including organizational development, compensation, and recruiting in partnership with specialist areas of HR * Collaborating with HR and business professionals across North America in a team-oriented environment, building and maintaining strong working relationships * Consulting with the business to provide tools, resources and thought leadership related to effectively managing change and transition * Enhancing organizational learning and development by facilitating training programs and group discussions on various topics, such as leadership development, change management, and performance management * Providing leadership and education to managers and associates on the application of company policies and procedures * Facilitating the performance review process to ensure effectiveness and alignment with individual performance * Conducting HR trend analysis and reporting activities to identify opportunities and recommend solutions * Leading and/or participating in HR and business unit projects
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management is preferred * 5-10 years of human resources experience preferred * Demonstrated experience with human resources policies, programs, and practices in a manner that optimizes human capital * Experience identifying and addressing complex performance management and other employee relations issues * Excellent analytical/problem solving skills * Strong communication skills
