Responsibilities
- Sales/Marketing Programs: Create and drive marketing programs and other lead-generation activities to drive enterprise sales and address key vertical markets (Airports, Military, Higher Ed, Sports/Entertainment, and Healthcare) and emerging industries. - Product Expert: The Marketing Manager must become adept at translating Small Cell (DAS, Wi-Fi, Carrier Offload) and Wholesale (“Comes with Boingo”) product offerings into engaging materials and messages. - The Marketing Manager supports the Sales and Account Management teams by developing targeted presentation material, providing product expertise at customer meetings, and assisting with RFP responses as needed. - They must identify customer requirements and spot major market trends. - Collateral Development: Develop product collateral including presentations, marketing collateral, brochures, and white papers for use with customers and partners. Craft compelling press releases, customer case studies, and support the team at trade shows and conferences. Transform technical and business differentiators into crisp value propositions. - Competitive Analysis: Develop competitive sales tools that clearly and concisely articulate Boingo’s value propositions when evaluated against solutions from existing and potential competitors. - Provide regular competitive updates to the Sales and Product teams.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in product marketing or enterprise sales/marketing. Experience marketing Wi-Fi/WLAN, DAS, small cell technologies and/or enterprise technology a big plus. - You have exceptional writing skills and the ability to translate broad concepts into compelling design/marketing materials - You have experience in developing and executing comprehensive lead generation marketing campaigns Hands-on experience with CRM lead generation management tools (Marketo, Eloqua), email marketing (Silverpop), social media (Hootsuite, Radian 6), other applications and tools (Salesforce, WordPress) - You have a stellar personal reputation and professional credibility - You are enthusiastic about new technologies, industries and business models - You have killer organizational/time management skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the Company including executive staff - You are an expert in Microsoft Office tools – especially PowerPoint - You have good design skills (InDesign, Photoshop) and/or can work well with in-house Creative Services team to develop killer marketing materials
