As an Email Marketing Strategist, you will lead lifecycle and transactional marketing campaigns from concept through implementation to increase conversion, engagement, retention, and LTV across our B2B segments. You will partner and collaborate cross-functionally with our product marketing, product management, business intelligence and analytics, and/or leadership teams to define campaign requirements, key objectives, and success metrics to inform customer communication strategies that you will own and deploy. Using quantitative and qualitative data, you'll work to understand the habits of our customers, map and prioritize customer journeys, then establish ways to delight customers with targeted, personalized, engaging campaigns across email, in-product, and/or social media channels. You will implement a continuous cycle of testing and learning to drive actionable insights about our segmentation, messaging, and channel strategies. You will ensure program goals are being met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, calling out in a timely manner when roadblocks hinder success. You will assist in efforts to automate winning, trigger-based lifecycle marketing campaigns that continually nurture and maximize revenue.
- 5+ years implementing email marketing strategies (including advanced strategies like A/B testing, management of marketing automation, etc.) that deliver meaningful increases in conversion, engagement, and retention
- Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and experience deploying campaigns that maximize LTV and retention
- Demonstrated ability to evangelize, influence, and inspire change in a decentralized organization with multiple partners and shifting priorities
- Hands-on analytical skills with confirmed ability to communicate insights and action items from data
- Excellent email copywriting, communication, and presentation skills
It's great, but not required, if you have:
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL
- Experience leading marketing campaigns for B2B companies
- Experience working with ExactTarget or similar tools
