Lifecycle Marketing Manager

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will play a vital role in continuing to grow our retention program and maximizing our customer lifetime-value. You will be the primary advocate for this customer segment while being the functional owner of Email and Direct-Mail channels, with a responsibility to deliver timely & relevant communication to our customers at each point in their purchase journey.
- Manage the email & Direct-mail programs and process workflow
- Collaborate with Creative, Merchandising and Promo teams to develop calendar and ensure our customer communication is relevant, accurate and maintains brand-consistency
- Analyze and report channel performance and test results
- Oversee our nascent transition from “batch and blast” campaigns to automated/triggered communication in both email and direct-mail.
- Collaborate with IT and project-management teams for special projects e.g. to integrate new systems.
- Monitor email deliverability and list hygiene to ensure optimal inbox placement
- Drive segmentation strategy by understanding customer lifecycle and ongoing testing
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new technologies
- BA/BS degree in Marketing/Communication or analytical emphasis
- 3+ years’ experience with email and/or direct-mail with at least 1 year of channel ownership
- Proficiency with MS Excel and ability to interpret and communicate results and recommendations to team and leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; with a collaborative personality and analytical mindset; and an ability to self-manage priorities
- Strategic thinker, with exceptional attention to detail and a focus on results
- Experience working with ESP, CRM & Marketing Automation tools
- Experience with web-analytics e.g. Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or Google Analytics
